Nate's mission call arrived on June 4th, 2014. The call arrived 4 long weeks after it was submitted to SLC. Mission calls had been arriving quickly for missionaries at this time, about 1 to 2 weeks, making 4 weeks feel like forever.
Nate's mission call:
"Dear Elder Hopkins:
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the California San José Mission.
You should report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the English language."
